  - ApSim (Fred Ballistreri)
  - Apache DA
  - Mentor (Ian Dodd)

  - Agilent has Verilog-A (John Olah)
- Reps need to be from engineering, able to influence
  product, involved in IBIS
- Do we need to have reps from companies that already have
  Verilog-A?
  - We can ask, but they may not participate.
  - They could join later.
- Will draft a letter

AR: Scott will identify an Apache contact
AR: Todd will identify a Synopsys contact
AR: Todd and Arpad will draft a letter

Discussion of how to organize ourselves:
- Committees
  - Should this be part of the IBIS Futures subcommittee?
    - no IBIS changes planned
  - Should we become a new subcommittee?
    - only to "bless" new library building blocks
  - Need to ask Michael Mirmak if we are "official" before
    we contact companies.
- Phone meetings
  - If we have 10 companies, phone meetings will get bogged down
  - Two levels of participation:
    - Primary members are the regular phone call participants
      and probably writing most code
    - Secondary members "watch" what is happening, review
proposals, and join phone calls as needed
- Email
  - Would be easier to have a single email address (reflector)
  - Could use freelists.org
  - Start with current members, add more later
- Data repository
  - Can use sisoft.com
  - Email items to Barry

AR: Mike will create ibis-macro@freelists.org
AR: Mike will create a zip archive of data files so far
    and send to Barry
AR: Barry will create data repository

Question: Will Cadence offer their macro library?

AR: Ken will get Cadence decision on macro library
